I don't have any material possessions that I feel I need to protect at the point of a gun. I can't imagine my self being attacked for any reason other than a punch in the nose for speaking my mind. That is hard to predict and even more difficult to be prepared for. I don't feel a threat to my family members either. I don't do drugs or drink or go to situations where people can become unpredictably volatile. Bottom line is I see no need. If, however, any of the above mentioned situations changed, I would not hesitate to arm myself and don't believe in fair fighting (except in sports).
