Why would the BLS admit this now? Think strategically... Actually, they are probably going to say the error OVERSTATED inflation data<G> No, but really... why now: this smells funny to me. I mean it isn't as if they are honest folks over there. Perhaps someone threatened to spill the real beans about inflation if they didn't concede this minor point now. Perhaps the seniors are finally flexing some muscle and said "we get a small cola now, or Gore LOSES BIG TIME"
