Rob: "fundamentals look great". Geez Rob, do they really look great?? Markets move in trends. The warnings we are seeing are not of concern as one shot deals -- only of concern if the mark a shift in trend. And if they do mark a shift in trend, then both fundamentals and valuations stink -- meaning we can go a lot lower and not have any meaningful recovery for a year or more. That is why there is so much steady selling -- concern that we are nearing a lasting downturn in the market. That makes each rally a suckers rally to burn off cash until there is no cash left -- only suckers holding stock that will languish at pathetic valuations relative to recent prices for some time to come.
