Positive Update from BAS 30th Annual Investment Conference
♦ Nokia management is sticking by its guidance at our conference.
♦ Expect quick December rebound from margin dip in September.
♦ New handsets shipping slightly ahead of schedule; inventory should drop in September.
♦ No change on industry units for this year or next.
♦ Maintain Buy and $65 target.

LM ERICSSON, INC. (ERICY)
BUY
Highlights from BAS’ 30th Annual Investment Conference
♦ No significant change to current business trends - solid infrastructure offset by weak handsets.
♦ Sept. quarter remains on track to meet our estimates of $7 billion (SEK 62.9 billion) in revenue and EPS of $0.04 (SEK 0.39).
♦ We sense that the handset losses may be slightly worse than expected, but still believe September will be the bottom.
♦ Company is well positioned with 3G -- expects to grow from 30% share in 2G to 45-50% share in 3G. Ericsson has won 13 of 17 contracts to date.
