hdl, this is your long awaited opportunity. Losses can be carried forward against future gains (I've done it), but I assume you have consulted with a CPA?

what will i do with my losses
Better run it by the tax consultant, but if you sell Jan puts, can't you take that income this year, get the stock put to you next year for a new set of losses, (or is that a complicated version of a wash sale?).
