Thanks DOC!
I'm out of CMTN and will stay that way. Unbelievable volume on the Stock. Only right after the last earnings report the stock ever traded that many shares and always when the stock traded high volume there was at least a small bounce.
Don't want to bet anything on that fact but it will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow.
BTW Technically i like the fact that the dow now held the 10600 level. 10680 now resistance and has to be taken out before that index can attempt to attack 10900 again.
GLW with good rebound. I think we might get a relief rally tomorrow and some people position themselves in the last minutes.

Copper Mountain (CMTN) 38 5/8 -10 5/8: Stock took a beating today; trading floor rumors circulating are that LU (28 5/8 -1 7/8) will be lowering expectations on DSL business as they transition to a new product; CMTN competes directly with LU; other issue is that ALA has been consistently talking of weakening pricing in DSL; third rumor is that CSCO has been bundling products, basically giving away for free.

Globespan Semi (GSPN) 117 1/2 -17 59/64: SG Cowen comments that stock is off today on speculation that LU has cancelled orders. Brokerage says they spoke with the company and GSPN assures that net orders from LU for the month and for quarter are ahead of plan. GSPN has no concerns re their LU business. DSL deliveries are also running ahead of plan. For the 3Q, brokerage estimates $91mm in sales, and expect GSPN to come in higher. Brokerage rates stock BUY.
