Flat to up for the year but pissed away a lot of paper profits. Here is end of day block vol and block trades.

stock block vol total block trades
kopn 2,786,900 103
cmtn 2,034,300 119
adct 7,028,900 391 (wow!)
lu 15,921,200 663 (double wow!)

Buying what I perceive as "bargains" here. But afraid of further malaise.....It's always darkest before dawn, right?

Hi Harry & Thread:

A question regarding the funds and window dressing. Was today the day they had to clean house or do they have till Friday with settlements. I would think its Friday but with the way some of these stocks were dumped today you would think it was today.

At least I hope this was the end of it. I thought we would turn after we closed the am gap.

Tim

HI HARRY!

Done with my trading for the week. Will go back and analyse all my trades and scratch my head why the hell did i buy CMTN - a stock in clear downtrend in a downmarket instead of shorting a weak stock in a weak market. Basic questions i always have to ask myself and i haven't found clear answers. Back to the drawing board. I'm outta here for a few days. Thanks for the great posts and i'll be back next week.

Stefan
