<<And, I would make prison a miserable place to be, and take back control from the inmates.>> Herein lies part of the solution...however it is your liberal friends in Washington and the ACLU who see to it that prisoner rights are more important than that of the victims. Prison is no longer a punishment...in fact in some barrios it is held as a trophy for "doing time". It is time to enact some "real" punishment for those who commit the crimes....personally, I feel that a few whips of a cane on a naked body in a public square will go along way to solving over populated prisons and putting some respect back into the word punishment.....just ask the two boys who were caned for graffiti if they have used a spray can since. . .
