Tom, Great work. How did you do the search. I am interesting in learning how to find such information.

Tom: Many thanks. I also find it an amazing coincidence that all of this is swirling around at this particular time. Part of the rumor, by the way, had to do with upgrades/downgrades/assessments that would be released tonight in advance of tomorrow's conf. call. But I see nothing on the wires. Hmmmm. M2

Bought on the open. Nice to see ADCT green on a red morning for fiber.

Key Issue on Berstein:

The report is based upon the analyst contacting over 60 companies and forming an independent conclusion. The company receives no investment banking revenue from NT, CSCO. That is much appreciated by many who are tired of negative opinions only appearing when a stock is trading at $3 -- then a hold recommendation comes out!

This was solid research today - based upon interviews and a fact seeking agenda - not how much banking revenue will be lost in the next NT/CSCO acquisition.

Maybe its wrong, maybe its right, at least its independent.

Let's hope he has nothing good to say about ADCT.

The kiss of death. :)

Here's his recent "outperform" comments on LU, published on Oct. 1, 2000:

And Mr. Sagawa, who downgraded Cisco and Nortel to "market perform," retained his "outperform" rating on Lucent, citing the company's relatively cheap valuation and low expectations for the company. Still, he reduced his revenue and earnings projections for the company for next year.
