Maeling, I got my short in yesterday and it was posted on this board. I'll let you find it since I don't have the time. The site update was for those who may have the possibility to get in short above 12 still and I know of one other who did happen to get in at 12.06 today. Not hard to do as long as someone takes your offer as that constitutes an uptick. I have done it many times. And my information is correct so I'm not sure where you're going with that. The high was 12 1/16 and there were a number of trades that went off above 12 and the low was 11 1/4. Where am I wrong? By the way...I had 800 shares short and with half a point profit that makes $400 which cost me a total of $39.90 in commission, thus netting me about $360. Not a bad way to "break even". ************************************ The EXBT trade was trivial anyway...let's revue last night's features on my site, not counting EXBT..... ATYT No entry...did not get the the break ATON Was looking for the break of 111. Got it, shorted it, and closed it at 108 for 3 points. CMVT Called for a short at 100. High 100 even, low 96 13/16 for a potential gain of about 3 points. ELON Was looking for a break of 32. Got it briefly, went back above stopped out at 32 1/2. Loss about 1/2 point. FFIV Called for a short above 36. Got it and it went back down for a potential gain of about 3 points. GENE Did not get my break. HGSI Called for a short at 175+. Got it. Shorted it. Low of the day was 162 for a potential gain of 13 points. I got 11. MUSE Called for a short near 195 and there were several opportunities to short at 193+. Low of the day was 190 for a potential minimum gain of 3 points. RFMD Was looking for the break of 31 1/2. Got it and got stopped out at 32 for 1/2 loss. VRSN Called for a short near 200. High of the day at 199 1/2 with a low following at 192 for a potential gain of 8 points. YHOO Called for a short at 99 on the break. Got it, shorted it, low of the day was 88 for a potential gain of 11 points. AFFX Called for a short on the break of 56. Got it, shorted it, low following was 52 for a potential gain of 4 points. CTXS A loser on my list that would have resulted in a loss of 1 point after getting stopped out if you entered in the morning. EXAP Was looking for a break of 15 1/2. Got it, low of the day was 13 1/2 for a potential gain of 2 points. MYGN Called for a short near 75 with a stop at 78 1/4. Loss of 3 1/4 points. DMRC No entry KLAC No entry, did not get the break MU No entry, did not get the break TPTH No entry, did not get the break ISLD Could easily have shorted over 20. Low of the day was 18 3/16 for a potential gain of almost 2 points JAZZ Could have easily shorted near 26. Low of the day was 24 3/4 for a potential gain of 1 1/4 points. ******************************** So, let's say you entered each of these on an even number share basis. The result would have been a potential gain of about 53 points with a potential loss of 5 1/4 points, or a net gain of about 48 points. Change this to an even dollar amount invested in each and the net gain would be even greater here than a loss on a percentage basis. ********************************* Now, please explain to me where the bogus tout drivel comes from before you call me a rookie. EXBT was my smallest gainer today, so if you want to examine my trade ideas, best to look at the whole story and not just one chapter. I told you not to play with dinosaurs..... Cheers yourself! Velo
