<SUSPENSION VOTE> Are we voting to suspend AMD from trading on the NYSE until after the CC?

I vote affirmative -- stop trading now.

Monty,

Well, what can I say in my defense?

??

Freaking scalpers, daytraders, shorts, diabolical INHELL manipulators, wussie weak hands (oops..thats me I guess -g-), swing traders, call option traders, put option traders...

Whats a chance a good solid stock like AMD got?

Hope you had a good day. Mine was OK.

rgds,

Pearly

Hi Monty,

Going back to one of your earlier posts

"Those gaps are hell aren't they?"

I've always traded on fundamentals, almost exclusively. I have a science background so I know why some might argue that TA has got nothing for it. It's a bit like a scientist, who already knows everything there is to know in the universe (apart from one to bits that don't fit into the theory) saying there is no god. <BG>

I see no harm in learning a bit of TA...especially if it helps me make some money.

Anyway, I digress, back to

"Those gaps are hell aren't they?"

In a bear market they sure will be. For very fundamental reasons. Sellers (especially institutions) like to sell at a profit. So if there has been a huge volume at a "gap up", and the price has moved up since, in a bear market the buyers will sell off quietly at a profit. (i.e above the gap) If it drops like a stone past the gap they may hold on and wait for a better day.

I presume you mean something similar.

pearly.
