Hello Jill,

I will attempt to answer your question. The most common problem with the Market Gems service is text freezing with the ability to still hear voice.

This can happen even if you are running 192 megs of ram.

Before you start your free trial you should install:

Internet Explorer 5.5
Lastest Virtual Machine
HearMe software

You can ask questions of the Chatspace people via live help at www.chatspace.com.

You could still do the trial on 64 megs of ram and you may not have a problem.

A friend of mine discovered she had a faulty modem via a "SNR" test that Dell had her do. The new modem still didn't solve the problem. She ended up with 192 megs of ram. She reinstalled the applicable software with the Virtual machine being the last download. Now she doesn't seem to have any problems - with the exception of occasional bugginess. Oh, and someone disconnecting her speakers so that another piece of hardware could be used...without her knowledge. It can be quite vexing when someone messes with your machine ;-)

If you daytrade it is worth taking a look with a free trial if they still offer it.

There are good calls and bad calls. It is hard to be 100% perfect in the market.

Good Luck.

OT Hello Jill,

Benedito pretty much covered the Market Gems question. If all you have is 64 megs you can still give it a try. Jenna types most of her messages so you could run it without voice if it starts freezing on you.

I don't trade off the buy signals very much so I can't give you percentage numbers as to success ratio. I do find it handy for various reasons, though.

Adios
