<http://www.firsthandfunds.com/news/2000-05-30_market_commentary.html>

What, specifically, are you doing in today's market?

Kevin Landis: The same thing we've always done. We're applying our firsthand industry experience to
identify great technology companies and purchase them at the best prices we can for our shareholders.
When the market puts these companies on sale, we try to take advantage of that. We're not too
concerned about the short-term gyrations in the market. We are investing for the long-term and feel
comfortable as a buyer in this market.

Landis’ description of STXN:

Investment in Endwave?

Folks on the Yahoo! thread are saying that STXN
bought 450,000 shares of Endwave for $14/sh.

Endwave is not publicly traded. Its a maker of
ultra-miniaturized millimeter-wave transceivers
using advanced flip-chip manufacturing technology.

Here is Endwave's URL: <http://www.endgate.com/>
I have a call in to Endwave and to Dan Spaulding
(STXN) to try and confirm the above investment rumor.

I could imagine that the transceivers made by
Endwave could be a critical component for STXN's
new ultra-broadband radio products, which are due
to be formally announced within a couple months.
I could imagine that STXN would want to ensure
that they have adequate supplies of these critical
components by investing in Endwave. I could also
imagine Endwave having an IPO which would make
STXN's investment worth a lot more than they paid.
