(NUFO), said he sees no slowdown in demand for its optical components. The spending in 2000 has been mainly in bricks and mortar, but 2001 will see an increase in optical systems installation, Westrick said in a CNBC interview Thursday. New Focus has benefited from growing demand for bandwidth, he said.
