Dan, this is the Silicon Investor's AMES chart, select 6 month period, and it shows volume. The volume is colored, blue for net buying volume by the investors; and red for net selling volume. We are approaching the deadline of window dressing time.

You are right that we are retesting the support level. If double bottom is confirmed, you will be very happy I am sure. Then there is always a chance that some market makers having inventory will start a short squeeze.

On the other hand, watch out for excessive shorts (which will make double bottom meaningless), which the market makers have to buy back. As the cost of shorts are averaging down, some market makers will get ugly. But we are not reaching a point where all the market makers are even getting close to their cost yet(they are all making money on their shorts). So, once they realize the volume dries up, they will create some nice moves to catch all the profit takers(do some more buy back). I am therefore staying on the sideline to dry up the volume. Ha, Ha, Ha?
