Intel resolved the PIII RDRAM/SDRAM issue when they published the i815/i820 benchmarks. I'll wait for similar manufacturer comparisons of DDR/SDRAM from Intel and AMD.
RE: drip, drip, drip. Your link to Sperling shows that RIMM-800 price to PC133 ratio is actually higher now than it was on August 1.
Like you say, though, the only real factor for Rambus in all this is what the MM's will do re: IP.
