Japanese industrial production last month rose to a record, posting its biggest increase in the past five years, as auto and machinery makers cranked up output to meet overseas demand. bloomberg.com Steve, with slowing US economy, this is a very good news for global economy!!!!!! Zbyslaw

Apparently the rumor mongers and fear spreaders in the bond pits were starting to raise questions about what other reports may be skewed based on their excuse of a software flaw. Just another day though, those bond traders seem especially skitzy. I see futures are trading up slightly again tonight. I was hoping for some kind of blow off bottom in the morning...gotta be a lot of shorts ready to cover heading into the weekend after this 5-day downdraft. What a lousy month after a promising end to August. Let's get it overwith. Sounds like you live in fishing haven Zbyslaw. I can't complain though<g>. sf
