Take a break if you need to regain perspective.

I have stuff going up....so my portfolio is staying afloat. I think the big and small pictures are so muddied, and there is so much sector rotation, that its hard to know from day to day which sector will get hit and which sector will go up. That in and of itself is not so bad but when this churning and grinding is over there will be certain sectors that will take the lead and they probably will be different from the ones of the last 10 months. But with all the moving around, its difficult to decide which sectors will be hot on the next leg up.

Which, in turn, makes it difficult to know what to cut out and what not to. So I have been cutting out most of my semis except DSL and gal. arsenide, and concentrating more in fiber optics, networking, aerospace, some biotech and what I call emerging small caps.

Have kicked back but to still have to do the ongoing management from day to day. None of its a big deal, just getting tired of it like everyone else. This too will pass.
