If the Naz does ever start going back up again, don't you think that will buoy companies like SEBL and NTAP, even with their obscene valuations

I have no idea. The only thing I know is that Siebel's valuation is at an historic, relative high. A special note: I'm not suggesting that the valuation won't become monstrously higher because I have no idea about that either. I don't believe it is sustainable at this level for a long period of time but I also have no high degree of certainty about that either.

I do believe, however, that the valuation is rich enough that there is a great likelihood that one of three things will happen:

1) The the stock price will come down;
2) The company's block-buster performance will continue to the point that the stock price becomes relatively less rich; or
3) Both of the above two items happen simultaneously to some degree.

Just my opinion. The reason I stress it is because I know some people still feel angst for having paid little or no attention to valuation when they purchased shares of other comparably priced stocks earlier this year.
