Paul:

"Hey - SpryGuy says EVERYTHING with AMD is GREAT."

True enough...Specifically, best product lineup in its 31 year history with leading edge products available at retail in both its world leading divisions: flash and microprocessor...flash up 10% in Q3 and sold out to end of Y2001 under contracts with Nortel, Alcatel, Cisco, HP and on and on, Athy processors gaining market share at rapid rate up from Q1 1.2 million to well in excess of 3 million units in Q3 with recent wins from Vobis, Cole, Tiny and Sun (and why not as it is the world's leading price/performance microprocessor at all speed grades, and with Y20001 sights set on mobile, workstation and server markets...Aside from its currently unrealistically low price of $24, yes Paul, EVERYTHING with AMD is GREAT...But that $24 price too will correct rapidly, once it becomes apparent, when AMD posts its 4th successive record breaking quarterly results on Oct. 11, that AMD is not suffering from the same set of problems as is INTC...Specifically AMD's ASP's are rising, INTC's appear to be falling...The AMD ASP ceiling is much higher than current levels given the transition from K6 to K7 currently underway...the INTC AMD floor could be much lower, but you'd know much more about that than would I...
