An interesting theory, Brandon, however, as it is quite clear that amateurs are far more widely represented in trading and investing than professionals, and at times overpower even the serried might of the Wall Street establishment, the logic falls apart. The April 4 panic and crash was made possible by precisely these people. A wise and disciplined trader will spot these panics as they develop - which is not so simple a task, and it is quite comical though typical and unsurprising to me the number of you Nostradamian souls who post here, so prescient in hindsight, so very silent Thursday night and Friday morning until an obvious rally gave you unlimited powers of speech - and attempt to take advantage of the opportunity wild market gyrations bring.

Next time any of you wish to criticize, please do so by sticking your neck out before the obvious has occurred. Then perhaps SI readers may be permitted to become fully aware of your unique talents. As it stands, you simply make yourselves out to be completely disingenuous and dishonest in your profession.

Now it is peculiar you speak of a "sympathy" tank in the markets and "disaster stops" before Friday, and the professionalism of the omniscient only after.

In your own previous posting you put the lie to and expose your market pontifications. Please spare us the nonsensical flummery - no one is buying it.

I would like to address what you wrote me at Stock Operators yesterday evening:

<I will say that your statements about MBTrading offering payment for order flow are flat out bullsh**. As I stated, I own a daytrading site and have over 2000 paying members, so I have tend to talk to everyone now and again, and MBTrading is the only broker out there who will not pay me commissions. This happens to be one of the reasons that I promote them, with out getting 1 penny from them..because they have shown integrity. >

If you have 2000 members, then it is now a good time to alert them that MBT are the only broker from whom you do not accept completely illegal payments. So, you consider yourself a man of integrity for not breaking the law with one broker? Why have you not reported these brokers to the SEC? I have made comments about brokers because I have ample evidence of their behavior. I do not throw accusations around lightly.

Sincerely,

Olivier L. F. Asser

Well put, Brandon. Your point also explains why there are a lot of casinos. It will always be thus until we teach folks some economics.
