John 10:1-7 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way,(an eight fold path perhaps) the same is a thief and a robber. But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers. This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them. (parenth mine) So according to Jesus, this man Gautama was not "enlightened"(Buddha) at all. Instead he was a thief and a robber, because Jesus says it's not the eight fold path but the ONE TRUE GOD. One does not enter the sheepfold by a path, but through a person,(JESUS, THE CHRIST). Your ideas about Jesus seem to come from a fertile imagination but not from the Bible. "Pursuing the conversion The sacrifice of so many countless millions upon millions of lives for domination of so many thru the centuries... in the name of some ancient tribal God of Wrath and pretending it was "we"that held the keys....is what we are left to see. Because of some "Lord of Lord"s? "King of Kings?"" I was not aware that the tenants of Buddhism included the blaspheming of other religions or their adherents. You also said; "Know thyself. He that Christians adore said nothing more." oh he said a lot more than that my friend. Here is some homework for you, read the gospel of John and look for all the claims that Jesus made about and for Himself. Maybe then we can talk from the perspective of knowledge rather than speculation. Got to go, have a nice day, we'll talk; Greg
