Kas, you write: 'I don't think people really understand how great this opportunity is,' he says. 'It has almost no limits.' Does anyone else see quotes like this as a contrarian indicator? It seems that anytime anything is touted as "a limitless opportunity," it's about to fall.* That quote is from Mike Ruettgers, CEO of EMC, quoted in yesterday's Forbes article. I don't think "touting" is quite the right word for this kind of remark when it comes from him. If anybody has an accurate fix on what demand is and is likely to be, it should be he.
