It would be really positive if the XAU could come back by the end of the trading session and close above 50 rather than just rolling over and giving back most of yesterday's gains, which is what usually happens lately.

That's why I don't get excited with these one day gains.

PS Some of the wild predictions on this thread are fantastic and have no basis in fundamentals at all. "The market is crashing....Gold is going to $600 or $1000 or $2000...." I feel like I'm in the Twilight Zone reading some of these posts.

I'm just looking for the XAU to consolidate and form a base for some kind of sustainable rally in the future. I'd be thrilled if the XAU doesn't break to new all time lows again.
