And might the lumber market says something about demand, while new home prices have continued to increase? That in itself is a classic divergence!

Hi Bill,

This morning is starting out to look more " LOW HUM " than " Ho Hum ".

Let's see : Mr Softy takes an accounting adjustment. Csco gets downgraded. Some analyst says telecom expenditures are over estimated and downgrades Nortel.Cmgi is getting slammed in pretrading.Amat fell below 65 yesterday in the last 2 hours.

Sort of looks like the generals are getting slammed.

I'm still amazed that all this has only registered a vix of 24-25.

We may not be at a vix spike but I think we're getting close.

Do your leading indicators suggest any timing scenarios for a solid bottom to go in???

TIA

Bob
