According to Symantec...

symantec.com

... SystemWorks 2001 Basic & Standard are compatible with Win 9x, NT Workstation, and Windows 2000 Professional.

Your post mentions that you are running Windows 2000 Professional Server version. I'm only aware of either:

1) Professional
2) Server
3) Advanced Server
4) Datacenter Server

If you are running Windows 2000 Server, it looks like Systemworks isn't compatible.

hi jeff,

i see rich has responded to your questions. i would have figured nsw2001 standard would be okay, but then i didn't know you were running win2000 server.

hope you get it all sorted out.

are you going to go to win2000 pro?

:)
