Good advice... basing pattern after pattern has resolved to the downside... classic seasonal pressure... the new wrinkle is the clamor for the end of the semi cycle and today's the end of the optical cycle... we'll have to see how the NT downgrade resolves today.... it may be just a short covering ploy.... the easy money having been made...

Only four IPO's of (possible) interest today... VAST at 14 (way above range of 9-11), DRRX at 12 (top of 10-12 range), UOPX at 14 (bottom of 14-16 range), and ASR at 15.13 (yes, 15.13 -- middle of 14 to 16-1/4 range). I'll definitely monitor VAST and DRRX, and post when open. Will also post on openings of UOPX and ASR when I notice them, but I won't be tracking those as closely... WSSI and DCNT, originally promoted as trading today, now apparently moved to tomorrow along with a whole mess of others already scheduled for then... Vagabond

I hear you loud and clear...In the back of my mind is the PPI and CPI numbers...remembering what the oil prices are going to do with the next reported numbers...Tax loss selling...and general frustration with everyone I talk with that are invested...also the talking heads pushing fear into it all..surely times will get better again...but when is a big question mark for me... Dont need to get spanked again, I already been slapped silly enough... Thanks my friend T
