Why has Intel's revs decreased? The answer is pressure on the high end chips from AMD's Athlon which outperforms PIII at a cheaper cost, and on the low end from Duron with better performance and price than Celeron. This from an industry source. Then there is Intel's recall of their 1100 MHz chip with about a 5 month redesign effort while AMD is delivering their product now, again with better price and performance. So we have an industry wide slowdown in PC's because of Intel's top and bottom line? I think not. Quite an inefficient stock market, I'd say, with lots of opportunities for buying some good tech stocks.
