OK folks I have lots of OEL but I have two rolled back old Pezim stocks that got basically taken over by an australian Oil baron.

His Name In John Tarrnt. He has been accumulating properties and he basically has controlling interest in the stocks as he bought the debt and took out the PPs themselves. They are very very quiet stocks trading at market caps of less tham a million bucks CDN.

They are starting to work some of those properties - None of the stocks have been traded much since he took the reins. I communicate with him on a regular basis. I beleive that in 1-5 years we will see return like OEL has.

They are DYT HDN and GGS - I own some of the first two and was offered a PP position in the latter but did not have the cash. They are all shells and very very quiet. They are not ST buys - If anything they are long term holds - for under two grand you can get 10,000 shares and sit on them - what is the worst that can happen. Hel I just lost $3,000 on Nortel for F***ks sake - I bought 100 shares in my RRSP at 119.50 so go figure
