That's an unfortunate outlook and, perhaps, reality. Would prefer a world where people are kind to one another - while still taking their economic positions as they see fit.

You are right, there is much ugliness in the world. Many of us consider it our duty to reduce the amount of it - others see no such moral obligation.

Sad.

I understand the short selling game well. The issue I raised regarding your post had absolutely nothing to with the stock and you know it.
