ML reiterating buys on CSCO and NT. Those brokers can move some inventory. Best,

I am not defending him by any means, but his report said that he called about 60 carrier customers.

Merrill out in defence of NT and CSCO this morning. In NT's case, they said that their new wireless efforts will more than make up for the potential earnings shortfall from other capex efforts (From CNBC report).

The Phoenix, I totally agree. The guy cost me some dough yesterday by leaking that he was making this "important" call. I wonder if the media will pick up that the guy was a LU bull all of last year. I am big into WCOM right now after reading the SSB report. I picked up a k of CSCO at 55.5 a little while ago. I have also just bought SCMR @ 99.5, CORV @ 61.75, MRVC at 46 and covered my ONIS short a 76 this morning. I am hoping that we have hit a bottom, obviously. I am already an NT supporter <g>. I would expect that some of the others in the sector would be rebounding at this point. ADCT, HLIT, STLW, CMTN (andf the rest of the DSL sector), FDRY and others are beaten to a pulp at this point. LU is FLYING today. tp
