amd is selling well all of their speed grades.
Intel's 1GHz output is less than 5% (same report). That means that amd still outship intel's highest bin even with a volume adjustment - especially so above 1GHz.

just to clarify 1mil rate is not an annual rate but rather quarterly which means that an annualized rate is 4mil of 1Ghz+ Athlons and growing. My assumption is that since amd would double output in the next quarter together with speed bin improvements we will have higher than 8mil 1GHz chips per year. WOW
