sam, I agree on the insidious nature of this....although, this one just really confirmed that it is intentional deception. It would not be difficult to get confirmation that the growth in the optical space is parabolic right now and that there is no expectation that it will slow in the next 12 months. JXM

I always try to remember that the guy on the other side of the transaction IS NOT MY FRIEND, he is my ENEMY. He is trying to raid my bank account. Brokerages have a dilemma, they HAVE to trade to make profit, yet the mantra is always LTB&H for the individual investor. The optical downgrade reflects, imo, the reality of that dynamic. I think we are going to see an increase in these "seiges", "raids", and "attacks" so the volatility will continue to increase. Therefore, it's important to never be "fully" invested in this type of market, fire sales are useless if you don't have cash. That's CASH, not margin.
