Dave,

The absolute minimum memory requirements for embedded NT is 16MB. Unfortunately this does not leave any room for program memory. 32MB is the smallest practical memory size, and 64+MB is going to be required for many embedded NT systems.

There is good reason why Rambus has little or no presence at the ESC, and remember that the vast majority of CPUs go into embedded systems.

BTW, a $1000 satellite set top box is not a mainstream or high volume application.
