I love this, they spend $50 million on a severance package for 1 person and then they go and cut 350 jobs

"Mattel also will trim 350 U.S. jobs and reduce its quarterly cash dividend to 5 cents per share from 9 cents per share as part of a plan to save $200 million before taxes over the next three years."

Here's one more for the "Jill is a C-bomb" discussion. You know that 3 million dollar loan that MAT forgave for her; well, come to find out that's considered taxable income. She made a big stink out of that, so Mattel grossed her up for the taxes. To boot, that gross-up is also taxable, so they had to gross-up the gross-up.

Sup.

Hi Arthur, No, not really. Was at a website last night and could not believe the way MAT's legal department attacks their own Barbie collectors and almost any site that dares to tell a Barbie joke or put their own spin on the famous doll..... One thing is perfectly clear to me, and that is in my opinion, the management of MAT has almost no sense of humor or appreciation for the vast diversity of Barbie's fans, who are into the doll in their own unique ways.....
A bunch of hisses and jeers to MAT's legal department from me! They need to lighten up big time!!! Yogi
