*OT* Gv- Thanks for the information on latest Bernstein.

What a ridiculous/shameful/unethical game the Wall Street boys play...the Justice Department, instead of focusing on dubious cases like Microsoft (OK, so you can build a case for monopolistic behavior there...but, ultimately, was the consumer really hurt? It is so horrible to pay $7-8, or whatever, more for Windows (while ensuring we are all on one standard). Look how well "free competition" is working in the cell phone industry (US vs. Europe)....ours stinks in comparison......Technology needs standards...intentional or not..

Instead, if Justice wants to save the consumer, how about focusing on the blatant immoral activities of Wall Street, and how the entire system is set up to benefit a few at the expense of the many (companies allowed to underwrite/provide research on same companies; the right hand sells stock..and 2 days later, the left hand- same company- downgrades; Ridiculous spreads, etc...)

These shenanigans effect a lot more consumers (and in a worse way) then anything Microsoft ever did...

Sorry about the soap box..Feeling empowered by the rally <G>...
