Neocon, I believe that your Grandparents would have been wonderful People. The Nursing Homes of today are Top Heavy
since they are owned by Doctors and Lawyers. The Care is minimal and the last time Peggy stayed in one for Rehab. I had to remove her for an Orange size Decubida (Bedsore) The'
Overmadication is horrendous. You have no clue as to how bad
the problem really is. Programs have been cut and now they
are cutting Home health Care Programs. Peggy gets 22 hours of care weekly and the turnover is horrifying. Talahassee
has taken over the supervision and that is going to be much better now. Programs (for Profit) has been so abused.

A home visit by a Nurse for 30 minutes is $100,00. One months bill when Peggy needed Nursing care was $4,600.00
billed to medicare. The R/Nurses make $15.00 per hour.
Respite care workers earn $7.50 per hr. Bath is $6.50
and cleaning is $6.00. These workers have no benefits not even milage...however look at the $4,600.00. Now is this justified????
