Encouraging news from TTP while I was away. I've owned this one for ages (largely tagging along after Miljenko on this one) - here's a very early post about it on this thread back when the stock was around $5.00:

Looking at these numbers now I'd say I was being somewhat conservative in my projections at the time. Of course since then we've had some validations from the trial results, but what has happened since then does lend some validity to this old analysis.

Of course I likely have a selective memory for some of my not-so-successful analyses - please feel free to dig up any such skeletons you may recall on the thread. When teaching my son chess (he's now better than me, alas) I used to often chant the mantra You learn more from your losses than from your wins. The same of course is true in investing.

I'm reminded of a great quote from Victor Niederhoffer's book (The Education of a Speculator) that went something along the lines of:

I've never made the same mistake twice. Instead I've just made one of its thousand or so close relatives. <g>
