Pallisard: Good point. I'd like to see some inhibition of his ability to post along with a financial penalty...

I'm sure that as time, and the legal system, catches up to the reality of the influence discussion threads have on market, and any one equity, dynamics the behavior of all threadsters will become more legally "constrained." My bet is it'll probably be in a fashion similar to the way investment professionals must now guard what they say to and in the investment community. 'Course, if Mr. Bill is a market professional (a la Auric Gold style), with appropriate licenses, etc., then silly him for opening himself and his firm up in so blatantly obvious a fashion. And I don't mean to sound cavalier but silly them the folks who believed in the guy. There is no excuse for personal responsibility when playing this game. Uhhhh....but don't take this wrong. A public retraction is acknowledgement of wrong-doing. So should someone hurt by him (and who can prove it) decide to sue.....well....I say..."Book 'em Dano! And let's start carving out a big slice of his financial net worth to replenish the plantiffs accounts...."

'Course.....you just KNOW lawyers are gonna love THAT angle, eh? So it goes.

John~
