The fact that Dr. Lott's work has been criticized actually ADDS credibility to it. He originally published his research in peer reviewed scientific journals. When you do that you invite your colleagues to take their best shot. Dr. Webster and others showed their respect for Dr. Lott by spending time analyzing it and responding with specific criticisms. Lott spent a number of years defending his work were necessary and adjusting his analysis where appropriate before he published it for mass consumption. This is not the work of a reporter, or a pundit. This is solid scientific research. I recommend you actually read it and come up with your own original criticisms.
