FBI conducts D.C. interviews in Bush tape inquiry By MICHAEL KIRKLAND WASHINGTON, Sept. 28 (UPI) - FBI agents skilled in counterespionage have been conducting interviews in Washington as part of an inquiry into who sent Bush debate materials to the Gore campaign earlier this month, United Press International has learned. Those scheduled for interviews included former Rep. Tom Downey, D-N.Y., who stepped down from the Gore debate team after receiving the materials anonymously in the mail. vny.com
