13:08 ET Cisco Systems (CSCO) 56 3/4 -9/16 (-1%): -- Update -- Merrill Lynch thinks stocks in the telecom/networking group could continue to come under pressure over the next few weeks as investors digest the new capex spending plans from the carriers. However, firm still expects industry growth of 17%-18% in 2001 and remains positive on the group for the longer term.
