Pete, <Thus one should only use Athlons to compare apples to apples.> Joseph seems to be comparing shipments and in that sense it sounds like a fair comparison to me. If AMD ships only 25-30% in Athlons and Intel ships about 60-70% in CuMines that is something that one cannot ignore. Yeah, Athlon mix will shift next quarter but P4/P3 mix will change in Q1/Q2 - that's a different story. What SSB did was capture a snapshot in time. <The typical speed curve tends to a Gaussian (Normal) curve.> Just curious, how familiar are you with bin splits? Any first-hand experience? Chuck
