The 'evil underside' is more of a karmic issue. --- MS has been *selling it's beta software for so long; over the time all of the 'good stuff' was in development, that MS marketing has given MS engineering a 'reputation'. --- What you call *beta I think is what a lot of other folks call 'alpha'. --- My original point though, was that if it weren't for MS marketing/policy, the engineers wouldn't actually CHOOSE to run a large site on NT/IIS instead of *nix/Apache. -JCJ
