Steve, for me at least means above, and the statement is made for legal reason. Recently ALA stated that DSL line shippment will be 4.5-6 millions(parts problems), where in the past ( Q2 CC) it was at least 4.0 up to 6 million lines. Zbyslaw

Steve, ABN-Amro downgraded the company to ``undervalued'' from ``buy,'' saying ``Alcatel's valuation is now in line with its European competitors.'' For the record ERICY for example is still more expensive then ALA as far as ravenue growth and PE. Obviously ABN call is still having negative affect on ALA in Paris.He expalnation indicates his real intension...... Yesterday, both Sagawa and ABN-Amro attact ALA and NT- the best performing vendors this year. Zbyslalw
