Glenn, fyi, LL Bean opened another major retail location in Virginia. They also have factory stores in addition to the original flagship store. The flagship store is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

glenn, you may be right. an observation i have is that the new economy has elevated many people beyond their level of competence. that makes your view even more plausible. we shall see.
