Hey, I couldn't remember him (Godel) by name, and only by the axiom's gist! We aren't always so logical here. There is tons of room for speculation and opinion. We don't want to become a little island of pointy-headed Humanists, do we?!! It is fun to read the stuff he digs up. And the provocative title of the thread, well you can imagine what that brings up. I learn a lot here and end up reading stuff that I wouldn't have otherwise.

All this metaphysics wears thin in practical life. Sounds like you have a good outlet. I like Stephen King, but I find his beginnings are better than his endings, no? Haven't read anything of his for years. These days its mostly theology and physics. But, that comes and goes. Sometimes I just put on the headphones and listen to mellow music. Though I must admit that I like and own almost something of every kind: Rock, Jazz, Blues, Classical, Folk, International, New Age, Electronic, Rave, you name it, it all has its time and place.
