Glenn influence? Kleiner Perkins owns Al Gore!
>Gore ended the evening in the company of high-tech executives at the Atherton home of Novell Inc. CEO Eric Schmidt, where he raised $3.25 million for the Democratic National Committee, setting a record for Democrats in the valley.

More than 320 guests, contributing an average of $10,000 each, gathered under a huge tent in the Schmidts' side yard. Early in the evening, Gore addressed a VIP crowd, including venture capitalist John Doerr.

>In other online shopping news, Ashford.com obtained a three-year, $25 million revolving credit line from Congress Financial Corp., a division of First Union National Bank.
Glenn, I guess you where wrong about Ashford. Ashford gets another $25 million?
If Ashford can get $25 million from Congress Financial ...Amzn can always get another $billion from Paul Allen, John Malone, or Prince Alwaleed.
