Chic, I agree with your point about RAMBUS, which is why I said "Unless Intel has a big stockpile of P4s, mobos and RDRAM they are screwed." But I do query your assumption that there is no problem making P4s. Putting aside Intel's recent history, where is all the buzz, the "we have great news to share if it wasn't for our NDA" we usually see in the press? Why the need for new steppings already - is the processor still buggy? October 30 is only a month away now.
