Good questions W Molloy. I am still amazed at how much faith shareholders seem to put in the cryptic comments of management. The whole affair smells suspicious to me and the fact that management was selling A LOT of shares near the peak doesn't help instill confidence.

InterDigital expects the case to be docketed for trial some time in the second or third quarter of 2001.

I guess this explains why the stock price continues it's
decline. Dead money here until mid 2001, then a lengthy trail.

molly, your above statement is based upon the fallacy that IDCC's future is solely connected to the outcome of their litigation with ERICY. Surely, winning or settling the case would be a big boon to the company and a certain catalyst for stock, but it's not the only game in town.

Remember, IDCC is a small company with big licensing agreements with Nokia, Ubinetics, several key Japanese equipment providers, etc. Also, the company has indicated they will sign more licensees this year - most likely 3G CDMA licensees.

So I will have to disagree with you about the stock being "dead money" until 2001. As always, the market will tell us who's right.
